annyoung cafe is a minimalistic Korean cafe that sits in a corner just along the streets of Da’an District. This cafe is an open floor cafe with soft aesthetic elements incorporated in the design making it a great place for pictures as well as some studying.
Outside annyoung cafe, there are benches perfect for taking Instagram worthy pictures. I recommend going at night as the cafe turns on the light and makes the pictures come out even better. As you walk into the cafe, you will see that they use sofas and stools as the seats. At the back of the cafe, they have a big table as well as a bar table that can be used for studying. Moreover, the decorations are definitely aesthetically pleasing, elements such as plants, hanging lights, and paintings are presented and further creates the minimalist aesthetic of the cafe.
The menu consists of desserts, drinks, and small appetizers. The most popular dessert dish is the Korean rice cake with honey and seaweed. This dessert is served with two types of rice cakes, honey, and seaweed. The staff introduces two different ways to eat this dish, either by dipping the rice cake into honey or wrapping seaweed around the dipped rice cake.
With the way the drinks are served, the drinks are certainly a must get. There are several choices for drinks, the menu includes tea, coffee, and ade both hot or iced. I ordered both the honey citro ade and the lemon berry ade. The drinks were plated out with a bottle of sparkling water and fruit jam. You would pour the sparkling water into your glass and then add the fruit jam for an even sweeter taste. Both drinks were really refreshing and I would recommend getting them.
As for the pricing of these dishes, I would say they are pretty reasonable and fit well with the serving size. The desserts and appetizers range from NT$120 to NT$220 while the drinks cost around NT$150.
Aesthetic pictures for your feed, quiet studying spots, delectable foods, annyoung cafe is the perfect place for whenever you feel like doing any of this.
