Submissions Policy
All submissions should be submitted either through email to our advisor Ms. Stamp (stampk@tas.tw) or our Editor-in-Chief Sarah C. (sarahc10108122@tas.tw) or on paper to one of the editors or advisor of the Blue&Gold. Submissions should include your name, grade/position and contact information such as email and phone number. Submissions will go through evaluation with selected editors and advisor. The submitter must accept edits from the Blue&Gold editors and advisor Ms. Stamp as well as a word limit as applicable. Submissions will either be placed on the Online Edition or the Printed Edition of the Blue&Gold. Appropriate credits will be given to submitters.
Opinions
Opinion pieces must be under 600 words of your opinion on a topic relevant to our community. For example, you may write a funny personal experience, an insight on how the One to One initiative is functioning, or an opinion on TAS sports teams. If unsure, please contact us.
Letter to the Editors
A Letter to the Editors is usually placed in the Opinions section, is in a letter format addressed to the Editorial Team and must be under 300 words. These are generally suggestions (or encouragement!) for the Blue&Gold or the school community.
Cartoons
Cartoons, either a single large image or a strip cartoon with four boxes, are placed in the Opinions section. Artists interested in submitting and/or regularly contributing should contact us beforehand. The topics for cartoons often correlate with opinion pieces that the Blue&Gold prints, but they can also be simply a humorous cartoon that you drew and would like to share with the community.
Maximum Dimensions: 14 cm x 18 cm (One large rectangle) or 27 cm x 5 cm (Strip cartoon).
Photos
Photos need to be school related and in high resolution/quality (preferably at least 3M). For example, they can be photos of Field Day, an art work, or classroom activities.
