1. On Google Apps, check if anyone has accessed your account from time to time by clicking Account, Security, Recent Activity.
2. Download browser apps like AdBlock and Ghostery. Ghostery detects websites that are tracking your information and blocks the trackers for you.
3. Never reveal all personal information online. Not even on Facebook, because everything can be breached.
4. Change your password each month if possible. If you have a favorite password, delete or add an extra digit or letter each month.
5. If the web address says https://, it’s secure. If a website’s address says http://, it’s not a safe website and personal information should not be entered on it.
