1. Popped collars


During a five-day stay in Hong Kong, I counted eighty-six sightings of these monsters. When I returned to Taipei, I thought it would be over. It wasn’t.
 
2. Sneaker wedges

You can buy sneakers, you can buy wedges, but for the love of fashion don’t buy sneaker wedges. Is it a subtle attempt at wearing heels casually? Girl, you ain’t fooling anyone with these kicks.
 
3. Native rubber sneakers
Just think about it: rubber sneakers. With holes in them. Uh, yeah, Mr. Crocs called and said he wants the world’s ugliest shoes back. We’re a ‘hole’ lot better without them anyways.
 
4. Prescription-less glasses
Goin’ for the nerdy, cute but smart look? Yeah, no. Take a U-turn at the prescriptionless glasses stand. This look was so middle school! Save yourself the embarrassment and c-lense yourself of this horrible look.
 
5. Sleeveless hoodies No explanation is needed, but the sleeves are.
 
6. Inside print jeans

Around Taipei, you’ll see guys who wear their jeans rolled up, styling the inside prints. Correction: out-of-style prints. Let’s hope this trend doesn’t hit TAS!
 
7. Basketball compression tights (worn casually)
I know the whole “going home from sports practice!” look makes you feel cooler. But it certainly doesn’t always make you look cooler. Especially if said practice didn’t exist. Just, no. Boys, please keep the leggings on the court!
