Exciting! Just a couple of weeks ago, Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, revealed the company’s latest products with one of their famed keynotes. Apple wows its fans by revealing the all new iPad Mini 3, the iPad Air 2 along with the new OSX Yosemite and the new 5k Retina iMac.
The heart of the keynote was the release of the iPad Air 2. A further improvement to one of the best tablets on the market, Apple boasted its 18 percent thinner screen (than the iPad Air), Touch ID, as well as a faster A8X processor. Not only this, they’ve included better front and back end facing cameras, as well as more built-in storage at higher configurations.
Following all of Apple devices’ motifs, the new iPad Mini 3 includes the upgraded Touch ID home button again.
While Apple hasn’t upgraded any other hardware components, it has optimized much of the software to maximize performance on the iPad. Quick and responsive, Apple hopes to outdo this version with its previous generation.
A whole overhaul of its previous version, the new OSX Yosemite “has a fresh new look, with all the power and simplicity you know and love” Apple explains. Featuring a new program called Continuity, Apple hopes to connect and integrate the iOS world with the OSX world together, allowing you to use many phone utilities straight from your Apple computer. For example, you’ll be able to activate your phone’s hotspot from your computer, or continue where you last left off on your iPhone on your computer. Interesting stuff.
Apple has over killed its new iMac with a 5k Retina display. With 14.7 million pixels as well as a 4 Ghz Intel i7 chip, this all-in-one desktop is going to receive much love from artists and filmmakers. Not only that, they’ve again thinned down the screen, as well as made it energy efficient.
Through these awesome innovations, Apple is surely going to amaze. It’s the proficiency of their equipment that has garnered the trust of so many users the world over. Hopefully, Apple will stay on their curve, and wow us one more time.
