Submissions Policy

All submissions should be submitted by email to [email protected]. Submissions will then be evaluated by the editors and Ms. Kundel, the Journalism advisor. Submissions will either be published online or in the print edition of The Blue & Gold.

Opinions Opinion pieces must be under 600 words and must consist of your opinion on a topic relevant to our community.

News News articles may be school related or beyond. Please provide photos to accompany your article.

Letter to the Editors A Letter to the Editors is usually placed in the Opinions section. It should be written in a letter format addressed to the editorial team and must be under 300 words. These are generally suggestions (or encouragement!) for the Blue & Gold or the school community.

Cartoons Cartoons are placed in the Opinions section. Artists interested in submitting or regularly contributing should contact the Blue & Gold. Topics for cartoons often correlate with opinion pieces in the print edition, but can also simply be one you drew and would like to share with the community.
